Abstract

Resumo: O objetivo deste artigo é tratar do conceito de vontade geral instituído no Contrato social, definindo-o como o fator unificador da diversidade dos contratantes a partir da busca pelo interesse comum, e analisando o seu papel na instituição do corpo político soberano e legítimo.Palavras-chave: contrato social - soberania - vontade geral.: The objective of this article is to deal with the instituted concept of general will in the Social contract, defining it as the unifying factor of the diversity of the contractors from the search for the common interest, and analyzing its role in the institution of the sovereign and legitimate politician body.Key-words: social contract - sovereignty - general will
