Abstract

In this chapter, we explore considerations of ethics and law in Human Resource Development (HRD) that are changing the landscape of employee growth and professional development. We begin with a look at the emergence and evolving role of HRD and the various perspectives that are shaping its future. We then turn our attention to a discussion of ethics and law in Human Resource Development and future directions for this unique and growing profession.
