Abstract

ThearticledealswiththeinnovativecharacterofimpactofInternetcommunications on modern political processes. Political Internet communications are determined to be natural tendency of the development of political system in the era of information transformations. Nowadays, traditional forms of political communication are not adequate to respond to the full range of public demands; therefore it is important to attract innovative practices, in particular integration of Internet technologies in the process of transmission and reception of political information. The advantages of political Internet communications compared to traditional forms of transmission of political meanings are outlined. Political Internet communications are interactive, offering the feedback. Dialogue, not a monologue, which is characteristic of traditional media, is the main feature of innovative political Internet communications. Political Internet communications play a significant role in modern political processes. Thus, scientists recognize the importance of political Internet communications in electoral process. As a formof social and politicaldiscoursebetweenparty functionariesand citizens, political Internetcommunicationschangethe natureof internal partyprocesses. Political Internet communications contribute greatly to the process of voters mobilization and new party members recruitment. Social progress of the XXI century is marked by the insertion of political Internet communications in the practice of public administration,in order to build an open and transparentsociety.
