Abstract

Applying feminist theory to some lesser-known works by well known authors and painters, Munich (English, SUNY, Stony Brook) explores the psychological and cultural implications of the Victorian (male) treatment of the Perseus and Andromeda myth and its medieval analog, the legend of St. George and the dragon.
