Abstract

In this paper author focuses his attention on one of biggest Indologist of all times - Abū Raihan Al-Bīrūnī. This itinerant scholar has acquainted himself with the roots of Hindu culture and philosophy at a time when next to nothing was known outside India about the range and richness of its heritage.
