This collection points beyond the many public and policy statements to the everyday human experience of these people. This book is a source of new insight into the realities facing those millions in every part of the world who have been forced by war, civil conflict, human rights violations or genocide to flee from their communities or countries, or who have been displaced by the colonization of their land and resources.
