Abstract

A obra do pintor inglês Francis Bacon conduz, no presente artigo, a um exame da temática do corpo, na arte e na sociedade atuais, sob a ótica de dois dos processos, descritos por Winnicott, que relacionam a psique e o soma: integração e personalização, e seus opostos.The work of the British painter Francis Bacon leads, in the present article, to the examination of the theme of the body, in present art and society, under the view of two processes, described by Winnicott, which relate the psychic and the soma: integration and personalization, and their opposites.
