On the Pavilion Stories among Occult and Mysterious Fictions during Han-Wei Period

Abstract

Han, Wei and Six Dynasties Ghost Stories has some background to the story pavilion, pavilion structure to form a special kind of narrative mode. Pavilion structure basically has three elements: Pavilion, people , ghosts . There are two main types: ghost, and ghosts Baoyuan contest. Something rooted in the Han Dynasty story pavilion system, contains a wealth of social and cultural information, showing a clear idea of good and evil, and showing a horror mystery humor and aesthetic features. There are a special narrative structure of pavilion stories which has three factors, pavilion, person and ghosts , and two types which are the female ghosts taking revenge and man fighting with ghost in pavilion stories among occult and mysterious fictions during Han-Wei period. The pavilion stories originated from the pavilion system of Han dynasty with rich social and culture information and remarkable sense of justice, and appeared mysterious and humorous characteristics
