Abstract

Resumo Passados já mais de vinte anos desde a sua estreia em 1989, a serie Dekalog de Kieslowski possibilita, no meu entender, repensar a presença do elemento religioso num mundo secular, como o de hoje. Nesse sentido, procurarei aqui ilustrar como a produção Dekalog revela, por um lado, que a religiosidade é intrínseca à natureza humana e, por outro, que num mundo cada vez mais secularizado, Deus se faz presente principalmente através da sua ausência, uma inquietude existencial que o ser humano sente, experimenta e vivencia. In this article, I will seek to illustrate the way in which Kieslowski’s Dekalog manifests, on the one hand, that religiosity is intrinsic to human nature and, on the other, that in a world more and more secularized, God makes himself present principally through his absence, an existential inquietude that the human being feels, experiences, and lives.
