Confucian Harmonious Philosophy and Its Application in Contemporary China

Abstract

Confucian philosophy of harmony, emphasizing the harmony is the most precious value under the sun; proposition harmonious coexistence of different state of things; anything that conflicts through conflict and struggle, and ultimately must be the "harmony" of the solution; adhere to bring harmony organizational cohesion, thereby increasing the overall strength. The Chinese philosophy of harmony as a way of thinking, the entire Chinese nation's "collective unconscious." Contemporary China in the reform and opening up, this "collective unconscious" was released, applied to the economic, political and social spheres, such as "socialist market economy", the "one country, two systems", "socialist harmonious society , "" scientific development "and other strategic ideas to be fully reflected. Confucian harmonious philosophy insists that harmoniousness, which represents the perfectly symbiotic status of different things, is the most important value in the world. In Confucianism, all the conflicts should be settled by harmonious methods and harmoniousness can increase organization strength by facilitating its coherence. As Chinese traditional thinking manner, harmonious philosophy gradually becomes so-called 'collective subconsciousness'. In contemporary China, the energy of the collective subconsciousness is released and applied in economic, political and all kinds of social areas, which is adequately manifested in the strategic programmings such as socialistic market economy, one country-two systems, socialistic harmonious society and scientific theory of development
