Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explore and define the concept of “biblical hermeneutics”. The author asks the crucial question whether this term is synonymous to biblical exegesis, and answers the question by diving into what he finds as the fundamental dilemma of biblical hermeneutics, finding a biblical theological core, an ethical core, and finally, finding the theological core of the canonization process.
