Abstract

Iran’s nuclear program is categorized as the most pressing problems of contemporary international relations in terms of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Note that this is a problem whose solution depends on the definition of the objectives of the Iranian authorities in the implementation of its nuclear capability. It is therefore quite natural that Iran’s nuclear program should be viewed through the prism of geopolitical orientations of Iran in the Middle East and the formation of alliances «for» and «against» that go far beyond the region.
