Abstract

High Heels polarisieren – vielleicht mehr als jedes andere Kleidungsstück. Zumeist wird das Phänomen entlang naturwissenschaftlich-orthopädischer oder feministischer Dimensionen diskutiert. Im Gegensatz dazu erhebt die vorliegende phänomenologische Analyse den Körper vom Forschungs-Objekt zum Forschungs-Subjekt, um aufzuzeigen, welche kulturelle wie auch individuelle Wirkung das Gehen auf hohen Absätzen entfaltet.High heels polarize – perhaps more than any other piece of clothing.
