Abstract

In nature’s chiaroscuro of dark crevices and beamed striations of sunlight that flit and flirt with the erect beams of a forest at the edge of suburbia, Geraldine Juarez goes looking for the unmentioned, disappearing, pre-digital cultural-material phenomenon that is Forest Porn. In a sunlit pubescent clearing, she emerges with a transcription of memory, youth and discovery.
