Abstract

From global and regional perspective, the modern features worth noting: first, the modern relationship between man and nature is a major change in the natural world because modernization has undergone major changes. Second, that modern human relationships marks a significant change. Third, the modern means of economic ideology than on political ideology. Fourth, changes in modern international relations. Fifth, the concept of modernization is a historical, biological and human evolution is a stage. Sixth, the process of modernization began in Western Europe, the whole world involved in the Western modernization wave. Seventh, the "modern" history of Western linear concept of development. Eighth, the social complexity of modern means of further development. Ninth, modernization and the close relationship between culture, showing a variety of geographic patterns. Tenth, in the time period of modernization and globalization, content, analytical framework and inclusive differences exist. At the worldwide and regional angles, we should pay attention to the following features of modernization: the important change in the relations between man and nature; the important change in the relations among men; the transcendence of Economic Ideology over Political Ideology; the change in international relations; it is a historic concept and a stage of biologic and man's evolution; it originated in the West and it is the West which involved the world in modernization wave: it is a concept of linear historic view from the West; it indicates the development of the complexity of social system; close relations between modernization and culture, as shown in different regional models; the difference between modernization and globalization in time, content, analysis methods and so on
