Abstract

A review of the conference «Educational Contexts of Constructivism», which was organized by the Department of General Didactics at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Szczecin University on March 16-17, 2017, is presented. The attention is drawn to the interdisciplinary nature of the conference work and its focus on the consideration of the strict didactic issues associated with the multidimensionality of constructivism. The discussion of the participants confirms the urgency of changes in education, which, however, should be taken into account in opposition to the constructivism of thought.
