Abstract

Introducing the life cycles of the main animal groups, this series provides an overview of key physical characteristics and covers the life cycle from birth, or hatching, to death, looking at growing up, feeding, mating, keeping safe, threats and survival. Each title includes simple charts and graphs to explain patterns of change and compare offspring to parent from a wide range of animal examples from near home and around the world. This title focuses on fish.
