Abstract

In this detailed discussion, intentional actions and expressions are characterized as events in a man's history which are known to him "not just because he observes them." They are further characterized as actions to which the question "Why?" applies, in such a way that the answer to the question does not give evidence for the statement or state a cause of the action. The author also discusses "practical reasoning" and voluntary action.--G. B.
