On the Characteristics of the Official System of Qing Neiwufu

Abstract

Imperial Household of the Qing Dynasty Responsibilities unique Yamen, is responsible for the court, the royal family of three flags on various matters and coating of the decree. Its agencies and numerous, Bureaucracy is very complex. Conducted in the government, not only cultural attache all set, and there are interlocking and confusion; their grade division, not only with the outside towards the Officials of the Nine eighteen system is quite different, but the same name of the Officials, in different grades, different types of institutions in different grades. In the selection, they also differ according to official status, the election official of the main differences and differences in the way of any officer, the nature of the Officials of the official division of lack of variety, be treated differently. Neiwufu as one of the special government offices in Qing dynasty was in charge of various affairs of the Palace and the Imperial Family House and the government decrees of the upper three Banners with a huge organization and complex official sys-tem. There were civil and military officials and mixed officials too with a very complex official rank which was different from that of the outer imperial court even the same title with different rank in different office. For the officials' selection, it was total different by the difference of the rank officials, the examiners and the way of the selection
