Abstract

La société attend des Sic qu'elles prennent la forme d'une technologie. Elles doivent rompre avec cette conception, mais les objets de recherche qu'elles construisent conservent quelque chose des objets techniques qui leur servent de point de départ. Ces sciences ne se focalisent pas sur la dimension technique des objets, mais les abordent comme des dispositifs hétérogènes et complexes, des processus communicationnels « objectives ».Society expects the information and communication sciences to take a technological form. Although these sciences need to break away from this conception, the objects of research they construct still retain something of the technical objects used as their points of departure. Information and communication sciences do not focus on the technical aspect of these objects, approaching them rather as heterogeneous and complex devices and as «objective» communicational processes
