Abstract

The article is dedicated to the activity of the Polish partisan troops under the command of Robert Satanovskyi, which operated in northern Rivne region during the GermanSoviet war. Soviet partisan raids units that in autumn 1942 moved from the leftbank Ukraine to Polissya reinforced the impact on local Poles. As part of the raid units arose at first Polish intelligence groups, and later – the whole partisan groups. The first partisan groups that appeared in Polissya in mid1942, also had composed a number of Poles. Subsequently, from the number of Polish partisans was organized a Polish partisan unit under the command of R. Satanovskyi, that was formally subordinated to the Rivne regional headquarters of the partisan movement. R. Satanovskyi considered that the main task of the Polish partisan formation was immediate transition by the river Bug and starting their subversive activities, that contradicted RRHPM guideline to continue partisan warfare on the territory of Rivne region. Disagreements between the commander of the Polish partisan formation and RRHPM affected the armed software and personnel training of Polish partisan groups, which in turn affected the results of their subversive activities. With the liberation of Western Ukraine from the Nazis began reforming of the Polish troops and recruiting Poles to new groups with the aim of transferring the partisan movement to Poland.
