Abstract

This essay is the Italian translation of Baeumler’s essay Metaphysik und Geschichte. Brief an Thomas Mann and of two letters of Mann to Baeumler. The author analyses the encounter between Mann and Baumler, which is centered around the Betrachtungen eines Unpolitischen, emphasising their growing disagreement, which reached its climax when the latter adhered to Nazism
