Abstract

With each step in history it becomes increasingly clear that the transition to socialism is the main content of the changes occurring in the world, and that it is precisely that process which represents the main channel in which contemporary social progress is occurring. "The Great October Socialist Revolution opened ‘a new era in world history’ , the era of the downfall of capitalism, and turned the prospects of mankind in the direction of socialism. The evolution of mankind during the past half-century has proceeded under the sign of the triumph of the ideas of the October Revolution, and of revolutionary achievements of the very highest order that have fundamentally changed the socio-political picture of the world"
