Cinema Between post-9/11 Fears and Archive Melancholy in the New Media Epoch

Abstract

The paper investigates mutual influences between cinema and the contemporary imagery related to fear, considering some significant examples from the various post-9/11 productions. In particular, films like Cloverfield and Redacted are taken into account.
