The Historical Development of Efforts to Reform the IJN

Abstract

UN reform has long been the focus of the international community, in order to understand the future direction of this process, it is necessary to clearly understand the historical development experience. UN reform related to organizational structure, management procedures and the constitutional arrangements in three areas, covering the quarter, international security and economic issues in two main areas of society, reflecting the countries in the different positions on these issues and perspectives. United Nations reform efforts of different plans that achieve substantial breakthroughs in these areas is still difficult. The reform of the United Nations has been a focus of international community for a long time. For a comprehensive understanding of the UN reform's further directions, this research reviews the historical development of efforts to reform the UN. There are different positions concerning the organizational, administrative and constitutional aspects of UN reform among different countries. Those disputes and debates reflect essential difficulties involved in the process of UN reform and should be resolved with great patience
