Polarized Partition Relations

Abstract

It is shown that for any cardinal $\kappa, \dbinom{^{++}} {^+} \rightarrow \dbinom{\kappa}{\kappa}_{< \mathrm{cf} \kappa}$, and if $\kappa$ is weakly compact $\dbinom{\kappa^+}{\kappa} \rightarrow \dbinom{\kappa}{\kappa}_{< \kappa}$.
