Abstract

言葉の意味が変わってしまうのはなぜか。単語の指すものの内実が変わったり、同じものを指していたとしても受け止め方が変わったりする。同じ一つの文の意味も決してずっと同じであり続けるわけではない。このとき、私たちにはいったい何が起きているのだろうか。この問いを、そもそも「意味」とは何なのか、「自己」や「出来事」とは何かといった哲学ではよく知られたさまざまな問題と交錯させながら追究する。
