Abstract

Este artigo analisa as relações entre o que hoje chamamos de ficção literária e história na Antigüidade Clássica. Essas relações terão como ponto de referência os usos e significados dos termos tirano e tirania na literatura e na história tal como eram praticadas na Antigüidade greco-latina.This article analyses the relationships between what is now called literaryFiction and History in Classical Antiquity. The uses and meanings of the terms“tyrant” and “tyranny” in Literature and in History as they were employed in Greco-Roman Antiquity will be used as a reference point for such relationships
