Abstract
In this work it is analyzed the ways of the presence of the French philosopher Jean Paul Sartre in Mohamed Aziz Lahbab, one of the most prestigious contemporary Moroccan thinkers. For it, the modest reception of Sartre in the Moroccan philosophical culture is mentioned, and the reason that has caused that he did not have the same luck those other thinkers of its rank. With original texts of Lahbabi, an idea of how it has been the presence of the French philosopher in the work of the personalistical philosopher is given. For this objective, I analyze several circumstances that can unite both thinkers, of deferent philosophical affiliation, so the unit of being and person; its true state; its conscience; its degree of realism; the presence of the other as a necessity for the I; the critic of the subjectivism, and Sartre‘s analysis of some of Bergson‘s notions. This work reaches the conclusion that the presence of Sartre in the Moroccan thought is the one of a being who aspires “to personalize itself”, and a nothingness that tends to support the fructuous feeling of the existence
