Abstract
The Fifth International Congress on Aesthetics will be held in Amsterdam from August 24 to 28, 1964. The general theme of the Congress will be Innovation and Tradition, and the program will include sections on: a) Language and aesthetics, b) The role of the religious feelings in the different arts, c) Truth in art, d) New types of art and the problem of their classification, e) Aesthetic influence of new techniques, and f) Non finito and completion. Other sections will be chosen by the participants. All contributions should be submitted in triplicate to the Secretariat of the Congress not later than February 15, 1964, and must not exceed four pages, with a maximum of thirty lines per page; they must be accompanied by an abstract of approximately twenty-five lines. The abstract should be in French, English or German. The languages of contributions and discussions will be French, English, German and Italian.
