Two Questions in the Study of Ancient Chinese Logic Thinking

Abstract

Logical study of ancient Chinese thought for more than a century, its fruitful. But in the ancient Chinese study of logical thinking to continue to deepen its modern transformation, there are still two issues, namely how to conduct comparative research? It involves a comparative study of an important methodological principle, namely, how to grasp the scale of the use of the comparative method; Second, what is the purpose of comparative study? It involves how the logic of what the ancient Chinese "what" and "why"? And how to make the traditional Chinese way of thinking of people today still play a role in interpersonal communication. The study of Ancient Chinese logic thinking has been going on for more than a hundred years and also very fruitful. But while making more profound research and modern transformation of this thinking, there are still two questions to be addressed. The first one is how to make a comparative study? This is concerned with a methodological principle of any comparative studies: how to control the application of the comparative methods. And the second question is about the purpose of the comparative study. This question involves how to explore the "what" and "why" of ancient Chinese logic thinking as well as how to make traditional Chinese thoughts function in interpersonal communication nowadays
