On Nietzsche's Appropriation of the Discourses of Enlightenment

Abstract

Many of Nietzsche's words are easily misunderstood, especially in the creation of his characters, freedom, God is dead these Enlightenment discourse; In fact, these words in the whole of Nietzsche's thought has a special meaning. Nietzsche's use of these words is a diversion; by its own rhetoric as masks, esoteric Nietzsche on the one hand to express their ideas, but also expressed the people's knowledge of modern enlightenment specific attitude. Nietzsche's words are very easy to be misunderstood, especially such discourses of enlightenment in his writings as creation, liberty, and the death of God, which have indeed their special meanings in his whole thoughts. The uses of these discourses by Nietzsche is a kind of appropriation, through using which as his rhetoric masks Nietzsche presents, at one hand, his own thoughts esoterically and, at other hand, his certain attitude toward modern enlightenment intellectuals
