Abstract

“I suppose I still hold on to a shred of hope that being independent-minded and having the intellectual equipment to analyse ideas properly will lead to better practice. But ultimately, it must just be that being able to see the world clearly and knowing how to go about discovering the truth about ideas is reward enough in itself.”
