Abstract

Confucian philosophy is a moral orientation, and morality is practical. Function of ethical practice to enable individuals settle in, so that social harmony, happiness. Confucianism Confucius, will be able to practice into the path of virtue, the perfect personal, located in the "pleasure" of mind, and the improvement of the group, located in the "music" atmosphere. "The Analects of Confucius" at the outset pointed out: "when learning of the school, pleasure it; have friends from afar!" . Own separate study, the hearts of Discovery "pleasure", with friends, fast heart "music." Confucian spirit of WTO, the completion of "pleasure and delight" of life in this life; Christian afterlife afterlife Yongfu care, thus the "pleasure and delight" is not only positioned in this life, but also positioned in the future kingdom of heaven. New Testament, Jesus Christ's words: "Thou shalt pleasure and delight when, due to abundance of heavenly reward, and both thick!" . The essence of Kant's philosophy, in trying to establish moral philosophy, on his tombstone, "stars in my firmament, the moral law save my heart" . Kant's philosophy, "the occasion of Heaven" also the hearts of the media in its "moral law." If cf Confucian moral function of "pleasure and delight" state of mind, Kant is based on the focus on the shape, if not the actual orientation of Confucianism, focusing on ethical practice after the results. A state of mind pleasure and delight, they can infer its morality; morality can, and only "pleasure and delight" into a state of mind to the evidence. I Kant's whole life, the truth is not easy to find "pleasure and delight" of specific stories; even in all of its works, could not find the "pleasure and delight," a statement of experience; some, is full of "pleasure and delight "concept analysis; In other words, Kant, the" pleasure and delight, "seen as a theoretical, rather than specific practices. This situation, perhaps it will make people wonder whether Kant's philosophy, whether the Western philosophical thinkers, the most suitable used for comparison with the Confucian object, let alone make up a mutual Kant and Confucianism. Of course, if that philosophy, theory, philosophy and practice can make up the deficiencies; and not vice versa, the lack of theory to practice up, as a logical thinking into the road. In this way, I say it should be: the Confucian practice, you can fill the lack of Kant's philosophy; Kant can not make up the lack of a Confucian. This paper attempts to "moral" concept as the core, from the practice of Confucian ethics, and Christian religious and moral experience, to explore their "pleasure and delight" state of mind, and Kant's categorical imperative to "moral" , and from this "moral theory" the study carried out for certain aspects of the comparison; message of hope from the re-understanding of Kant's philosophy, re-evaluation. Confucianism is morally oriented, while morality is practical. The function of moral practice is to enable individuals to make a life for themselves and create a safe and prosperous society. Therefore, with a practical approach, Confucius defined the personal sense of perfection as "pleasure "and the collective sense of perfection as" delight. "Confucian Analects begins with" Is it not pleasant to learn with a constant perseverance and application? Is it not delightful to have friends coming from distant quarters? "Learning on one's own is a "pleasure," while associating with friends is "delight." The Confucian secularism is to gain "pleasure and delight" in this life, while Christianity is concerned with everlasting blessing. Therefore "pleasure and delight" are to be achieved not only in this life but also later in heaven. In the New Testament, Jesus Christ said: "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you" . The essence of Kant's philosophy is the effort to build up the moral philosophy. The epigraph on his tombstone is: "Der gestirnte Himmel ueber mir, das moralische Gesetz in mir" . In Kant's philosophy , the distinction and crossing between the "thing-in-itself" and the limited being of mankind are his moral laws within. In comparison with the "pleasure and delight" as a moral function of Confucianism, Kant was concentrated on the metaphysical foundation rather than the Confucian practical orientation and emphasis on the results of moral practice. We can certainly figure out one's morality from his or her pleasure and delight; morality can and only can be illustrated through "pleasure and delight." We can hardly any stories about " pleasure and delight "throughout Kant's life; we can't even find any statements about the experience of" pleasure and delight "in all his works. What we do find is nothing but analyses about the concepts of" pleasure and delight, "that is , Kant sees "pleasure and delight" in a theoretical rather than practical fashion. This fact certainly makes one wonder if Kant's philosophy is the best one of all western philosophies to be compared with Confucianism, let alone supplementing one another with the latter. Of course , if we see the idea that philosophical theories supplement philosophical practices rather than the other way around as the right approach, we should say: Confucian practice can supplement Kantian theory, rather than the other way around. In this paper, we try to take " morality "as the key to approach" pleasure and delight "in relation to the practice of Confucian ethic morality and the experience of Christian religious morality. Then we can compare" pleasure and delight "with the Kant's categorical imperative" morality "and the exploration set out from this "moral theory." As a result, we hope to re-recognize and re-evaluate Kant's philosophy.
