Abstract

History is the ruling class policy research on the history of the overall strategy, the overall purpose and requirements, is the will of the ruling class ideology in the history of the specific embodiment. Sui policy prohibiting the establishment of private repair national history, from the legal designation of the historical events of the restricted area. Sui, Tang and Song Dynasty historian in inheritance policy, a fundamental requirement of the historical activities must adhere to the Confucian ethics to evaluate the history, must serve the real history of political direction, highlighting the authoritarian policies and systems demonstrated and significant monopolization political utilitarianism color. The essence of the historical writings and historical research into the orbit of the feudal autocratic rule, so that historians maintain political power and consolidate his rule as a tool. Thus, while it promoted the history of the moment "prosperity", but it seriously affected the historical and cultural character. In ancient China, the ruling class' will and aspirations was reflected in historiography, since they determined the strategy, purpose and demands of historical studies. In the sui and Tang dynasties, private records of state history was prohibited, thus in law the sphere of historical research was limited. The Song dynasty continued practicing this policy, and furthermore determined Confucius morality as the guiding line for history works, demanded history-writing serving for political reality. The nature of this kind of historiography policy is reflected in its absolute monopoly and obvious functionism in the ruling class' hands. They wanted to incorporated history into their ruling course and served as an instrument of maintaining and consolidating their regimes. This policy promoted temporary "prosperity", but hindered healthy growth of historical character
