Abstract
The aim of this work is to present a model of change so that we can have some guideposts to assist us on our journeys. We are being forced to adapt so quickly that at times this change process looks like chaos. My intention is to demonstrate an underlying order to the perceived chaos. ;To achieve this description I am studying the language systems of physics, spiritual psychology, Eastern philosophies, systems theory and healing systems. The purpose is to weave these languages together to create a working grid or framework for understanding change at the cellular level. ;I am seeking to describe this evolutionary leap of consciousness in the cells of the individual in terms of a seven stage process. ;I would like to briefly summarize the essential propositions of the theory of change I am evolving. The cycle starts when the individual is experiencing some form of pain; either physical, mental, emotional and/or spiritual pain in his/her life. At this point, a new belief concerning some structure of reality is introduced. A new goal or framework is developed so that the old may be replaced. At this point, there must be a clear choice that the old, painful way of life is to be given up for the new goal. The groundwork is now laid over a period of time so that the new structure of reality starts to have a firm base. Following this time of internalized construction is a time of incubation or waiting. During this phase, the inner resources are built up so that the new foundation becomes very solid. At the point when the new structure of reality has reached a critical mass, the individual experiences a breakthrough
