Abstract

This work is the first and only annotated bibliography covering the literature on the problem of evil. First published in 1993, Theodicy has become the standard research tool in this important area of philosophical research. In addition to six chapters covering different kinds of theodicies, the work includes complete author indexes, a new preface, and appendices on Biblical Theodicy, Historical Theodicy, Suffering of God Theodicy, Miscellaneous Publications, and Dissertations on Theodicy.
