Abstract

The reading of Alberto Marcos Onate’s MPhil dissertation, “The Twilight of the Subject in Nietzsche”, suggests many issues about the Nietzschean conception of interpretation. These issues are related not only to the specific sphere of genealogy, but yield questions about the own possibility of interpreting Nietzsche’s philosophy, if for interpretation we mean the elucidation of the philosopher’s position, that is, the place of whom thinks the final and original sense of the thought itself.
