Reading the Second Sex: Influence of Hegel’s Master and Slave Dialectic

Abstract

The present paper aims to bring out the influence of Hegel's work in Beauvoir's philosophy. It tries to understand the philosophical relationship between Beauvoir and Hegel where their texts act as a mediator in order to establish this invisible philosophical link.
