Abstract

In connection with Husserl’s fundamental definitions, this article looks for a way in which phenomenology can avoid being accused of illegitimate homogenization. It proceeds in four steps: First, it clarifies the problems; second, it endeavors to demonstrate how the structural moment of care proves to be the decisive point in the development of the homogenization achievement; third, it goes on from there to discuss the relationship between phenomenology and homogenization; and finally, it characterizes the methodological approach which develops from the phenomenology of interculturality
