Abstract

Gilles Routhier | Résumé : L’enseignement de Vatican II sur le magistère a été plusieurs fois commenté et analysé. Trop souvent cependant on oublie que c’est dans l’exercice même de la fonction magistérielle que le pape et les évêques réunis en Concile ont donné l’enseignement le plus éloquent sur le magistère lors du concile Vatican II. C’est en adoptant une posture , à travers une forme et un style que les Pères conciliaires définissent un nouveau mode d’exercice du magistère. C’est enfin à travers les silences du texte que se précise une vision de l’exercice du magistère dans l’Église. |: The Vatican II teaching on the Magisterium has been commented on and analysed several times. Yet too often we forget that it is in the very exercise of the magisterial function that the Pope and the bishops assembled in the Council have given the most eloquent teaching on the Magisterium during the Second Vatican Council. It is by adopting a stance , through a form and a style that the Conciliar Fathers define a new mode of exercising the magisterium. It is ultimately through the silences of the text that a vision of the exercise of the magisterium of the Church makes itself clear
