Abstract

When Philosophy is considered not only as a kind of knowledge but also as an activity of intelligence, capable of transforming the way the humanity understands itself, the world and the ways it constructs and acts on the reality, Philosophy becomes a critical-creative experience of thought and action. Processes of teaching and learning of Philosophy seek to put the subjects in contact with a "complete philosophy", at the same time theoretical and practical. However, because a set of changes imposed by the current Brazilian educational legislation, the philosophical teaching can be removed from the curriculum. This article reflects about the necessity to promote pedagogical practices and actions capable of resisting the current moment of regression and to promote a creative teaching. It draws attention for a teaching that is guided by creative practices capable of helping young people in the experience of creating themselves and the world around them, based on a revolutionary philosophy, which consists in an intervention in the world and promoting the teacher-philosopher who inspires and encourages young people to philosophize.
