Volumes XXXIXXXIV of the new critical edition present Gentile's erudite work on the writings of Italian philosophers--mostly minor figures--of the second half of the nineteenth century. He classifies them as Platonists, Positivists, Neo-Kantians, or Hegelians.--R. D. G.
