Abstract

As real socialism reaches higher and higher stages of maturity, the relationships between the progress of the economy and the sociopolitical and intellectual progress of socialist society become more and more closely knit. A profound theoretical analysis of the processes of development of the class structure of national relations and of the achievements and prospects of the further development of the political system, ways and forms of consolidating material and intellectual foundations of the socialist lifestyle, the formation of the new individual, and the characteristics of ideological, political, and educative work at the present stage is given in documents of the CPSU and the fraternal parties of the countries of the socialist community. These problems are actively being studied by sociologists in the USSR and other countries of the socialist community.
