Abstract

Democracy presents some different perspectives and, when it is called into question, it becomes necessary to rethink it. Democracy can be paramount as pedagogy in two senses: on the one hand, as educator of coexistence and, on the other hand, as the stage of agreement in politics. The person, as symbol of dignity and human rights, is the main character and addressee of democracy which, same as the person itself, is an everlasting project.
