Abstract

The purpose of my study starts from a Freud’s sentence found in Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality, where is founded the existence of «a subspecies of sublimation» which consists «in a repression [of pulsions] by a reaction-formation» and in the constitution «by construction which are made to stop efficiently perverted motion recognized unusuable», in the field of virtue and behaviour. Following Freudian’s work literal suggestions, in relation to the behaviour and ‘our own series of virtue’, this allow us to think around the sublimation beyond the univocal model of art, in a new way that consists to look at a different and non pathological aspect of the reaction-formation.
