Abstract
The chapter intends to place Latin American Liberation Theology within the concept of what decolonial theory has denominated as otherwise-thought, that is, as a hermeneutic framework of theoretical-political critiques based on a decolonial methodology. For this purpose, this chapter describes the most relevant elements of the epistemic proposal of the decolonial turn, from which a critique within the LALT is made, and in turn, a visualization of the postcolonial dynamics inherent to LALT.
