Abstract

The systematic development of Slovene philosophical terminology commenced in the second half of the 19th century. The year 1881 saw the publication of Janko Pajk’s treatise, Contributions to Philosophical Terminology, and it is the most important document of this age in the course of development of Slovene philosophical terminology. Pajk’s elaborate reflections on philosophical creation of concepts as well as hard work done on some of the philosophical concepts prove to be of great relevance even today, when we are again discussing the reasons for and the value of the development of Slovene philosophical language
