Abstract

Mercy constitutes the core of missionary spirituality. As the Patron of Mission, St Thérèse of Lisieux remains an eloquent testimony of missionary spirituality. Taking her as a model, teacher and guide, this article reflects on certain interior attitudes which distinguish her as an apostle of mercy and which today’s missionary disciples are called to emulate if they have to become credible ambassadors of God’s loving mercy.
