Abstract

Este ensaio pretende estabelecer um paralelo entre o filosofo dinamarquês Soren Aybe Kierkegaard e o educador brasileiro Paulo Freire, tomando como base a compreensão de educação da subjetividade nos referidos autores e suas implicações ético-pedagógicas na construção do caráter e da personalidade do indivíduo singular no interior das contradições existenciais, as quais o indivíduo enquanto pessoa humana precisa decidir em concretizar as possibilidades e tornar-se a si mesmo ou permanecer na inautenticidade, no anonimato e na impessoalidade. Ambos os autores, compreendem a educação como um fazer que deva ser capaz de promover a construção da autenticidade das pessoas a partir da transformação das condições da existência.This essay seeks to establish a parallel between the Danish philosopher Soren Aybe Kierkegaard and the brazilian educator Paulo Freire, based on the understanding of education of the subjectivity in these authors and its ethical and pedagogical implications in the construction of the character and in the individual’s personality within the existential contradictions, in which the individual as a human being must decide upon realizing the possibilities and become himself or remain in the inauthenticity, the anonymity and in the impersonality. Both authors understand the education as an action that is able to promote the construction of the authenticity of people from the transformation of the conditions of existence
